Food scandals are a dime a dozen in China mainly due to the huge population and booming economy. But the latest food scandal is totally disturbing and disgusting.

Gutter oil is oil made by recycling waste oil from sewer drains, grease traps, restaurant fryers and even slaughterhouse waste. It is processed in illegal plants and then sold at around $940 a ton as compared to $1,500 a ton for normal cooking oil.

Food cooked in this oil tastes and looks just like normal food. But this oil has lots of highly carcinogenic chemicals in it. It is also believed to lead to developmental disabilities in kids.

Pycnogenol Benefits #1: Asthma

Let’s begin with asthma. Two studies illustrate the possibilities:

– One was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study in which 26 asthmatic patients were given either a maximum of 200 mg a day of Pycnogenol or placebo for the first period of four weeks and then crossed over to the alternate treatment for the next four weeks. All Pycnogenol-treated patients responded favorably in contrast to placebo treatment. Moreover, Pycnogenol lowered the chemical, “leukotrienes” responsible for asthma attacks.

Considered to be one of the leading causes of infertility, endometriosis is a conditionwhich occurs when the endometrial lining implants itself outside the uterus. These tissue deposits can occur nearly anywhere in the abdominal region, and during the monthly cycle they bleed and shed just as the lining of the uterus does. The result is scarring and inflammation anywhere the lesions exist, often causing excessive amounts of pain in addition to issues with fertility.

Pine Bark Extract and Arginine highly effective in treating erectile dysfunction

According to several studies, pine bark extract from the French Maritime Bark is an effective natural treatment for erectile dysfunction. This plant extract also protects blood vessels against inflammation. There are plenty of options when it comes to natural aphrodisiacs.

In 1535, French explorer Jacques Cartier sailed up the St. Lawrence River in his search for the Northwest Passage. As winter approached, the river froze solid and Cartier and his crew spent several months near the Iroquoian village of Stadacona (today’s Quebec City).

Cartier wrote in his journal, “…out of 110 souls that we had been, not 10 were free from it… Our condition was pitiable… we had given up all hope….”
